There are three Estates Management Regions each with a Regional Manager responsible for a small team of professional and business support staff and outsourced service providers.
The team has the role of maximising rental income from the portfolio whilst ensuring that the lease terms do not obstruct disposal options or clean up activity and that exacting Health, Safety, Security and Environmental standards are maintained.
The Estates Management team manage the National Grid Property and surplus National Grid operational portfolios ensuring that whenever possible income is generated from letting surplus properties whilst vacant land and is kept safe and secure. The team additionally manages the properties occupied and leased by National Grid businesses and provides property management services to Group companies. It also ensures that the Construction and Sales teams have the necessary property management assistance to facilitate site clean up and sale.
